El Nino’s 2010 message: So-Cal’s Mt. Baldy ski area is still open

Next time scientists announce another El Nino, it is not a mandate that Southern California will have another ski year like this one.   It is just mathematical probabilities.  But, if the roulette wheel was 60% black, which color are you going to bet?

Sixty-five miles from surfers at Venice Beach, Mt. Baldy’s chairlifts are still spinning.  Thunder Mountain turns in May in view of Kobe Bryant and the Lakers slogging it out with the Utah Jazz.

Baldy announced today that they will remain open until May 9th.  Monday through Friday hours are from 10am to 4pm.  Saturday and Sunday hourse will be from 8am to 4pm.
