The wind worked in favor of keeping the oil away from shore today. BP oil company says they will be ready to drop the housing, called a contaiment dome, over the leak Thursday. They will hook the dome up to a ship over the weekend. About 210,000 gallons have gushed per day since the rig exploded killing 11 workers. With hurricane season just a month away, workers are working as quickly as possible to clean up what they can. The spill will likely take weeks to contain and clean.
