Deer Valley Resort offering new summer concert lodging packages

DEER VALLEY RESORT, PARK CITY, UTAH (May 12, 2010) As certain as the return of summer to Deer Valley’s green mountains is the return of outdoor concerts at the Resort’s beautiful Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheater. Locals and visitors of all ages have come to expect a full repertoire of musical performances, including Utah Symphony | Utah Opera’s Deer Valley Music Festival, the Park City Performing Arts Foundation St. Regis Big Stars, Bright Nights Outdoor Concert Series, the Frontier Bank Community Concert Series presented by Mountain Town Music, and select shows produced by First Tracks Entertainment (FTE) and United Concerts. And now the Resort is offering special summer lodging packages to accommodate concert goers.

Utah Symphony | Utah Opera’s Deer Valley Music Festival Package offers a concert evening for two, including tickets for two to a show and one night’s lodging with rates starting at $155/night.

Guests who buy two nights and a show will receive the second night’s lodging at 50 percent off.
This concert package is also available for the Park City Performing Arts Center’s Big Stars, Bright Nights series and United Concerts’ shows. To complement your evening, add a Deer Valley Gourmet Picnic Basket to any of our concert packages. Shows vary in price and will dictate rate; other lodging choices can be combined with discounted Deer Valley Music Festival tickets but rates will vary; property and other restrictions may apply. As for the summer concert lineup, the Deer Valley Music Festival, presented by Utah Symphony | Utah Opera, runs from July 17 to August 14, 2010; and encompasses a month-long celebration of music, featuring performances of classical and pops at Deer Valley’s renowned Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheater, Chamber Orchestra and guest chamber performances at Park City’s St. Mary’s Church and salon events in exquisite Deer Valley area homes, where guests will hear and meet artists. 2010 Deer Valley Music Festival performances include: Ben Folds with the Utah Symphony on July 17, Disney in Concert on July 23, Ted Calcara and New Deal Swing on July 24, An American Salute with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir on July 30, Bravo Broadway: Broadway Divas! on July 31, 1812 Overture on August 6, Randy Travis with the Utah Symphony on August 7, Mark O’Connor with the Utah Symphony on August 13 and Music of Led Zeppelin with the Utah Symphony on August 14. The St. Regis Big Stars, Bright Nights Outdoor Concert Series, presented by Park City Performing Arts Foundation, will also be held at Deer Valley’s Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheater this summer. This summer’s lineup includes OneRepublic on July 4, Wynonna Judd on July 20; Michael McDonald on August 8, Earth Wind & Fire on August 20 and Ryan Bingham, Crooked Still and Sara Watkins on September 6. Deer Valley welcomes the Frontier Bank Community Concert Series presented by Mountain

Town Music for a seventh summer season. Ample parking, easy access and the sizeable grassy seating area make this concert series a staple of Park City’s weekly social life.
