SWISS Airlines now with new service from San Francisco Airport

West Coast skiers and riders who are planning to vacation in the Swiss Alps now have the non-stop flight option from San Francisco to Zurich, Switzerland, six days out of the week!

This new service started on June 2nd, and runs daily except for Tuesdays.

The Airbus 340 displays a colorful “flower power” design with a decorative “San Francisco” was created to salute and commemorate the city’s past. The final design was a result of a graphic design contest in Switzerland.

SWISS CEO Harry Hohmeister, expressed his optimism on the new service, “We are most pleased about this West Coast addition to our network, linking two vital business and leisure destination”.

San Francisco is the eighth gateway service by SWISS in North America. Others include Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Newark, and Montreal as well.

The aircraft offers seating in economy, business, and first-class cabins.

Service to Zurich departs from SFO at 7:25 p.m., arriving at 3:40 p.m. the following day. Return service departs Zurich at 1:15 p.m., arriving in San Francisco at 4:30 p.m.
