Bonfire to once again host ‘Pipe to Pipe’ contest at Windells Camp this summer

If you have been paying attention lately, you already know that summer camps are the place to be as a skier or boarder in the summertime. However, it’s no secret they can be pretty expensive. Thankfully, the folks at Bonfire are helping you out by sponsoring their 13th annual “Pipe to Pipe” contest at none other than Windells Camp near Mount Hood, and registration is free of charge!

The Pipe to Pipe contest reigns as the longest running skate and snowboard contest in the world. The event is comprised of two parts; the snowboard contest held in the custom 150-foot-long jibyard halfpipe on the Windells lane, and the skate contest on the newly-completed concrete skatepark on Windells campus.

The snowboard event registration will kick-off at 9am on July 10th. Space is limited and arriving early is encouraged.

Later in the day, the skate contest will begin taking sign-ups at 5pm at the Windells skate park.

The jam style format, sideline contests, prizes and free food make this an event you can’t afford to miss.
