The dates for the July Shred Fest in Truckee, Lake Tahoe, have been arranged. On July 10-11, Boreal Mountain Resort will reopen the mountain for skiers and riders to shred under summer sunrays.
There will be a full terrain park available from 10am – 2pm on the Castle Peak Quad lift; giving you access to everything the park has to offer.
Lift tickets will be only $20. Any 2010/2011 season passes will be accepted, and they will be on sale at the pass office on event day, for $269.
Gather some buddies together and you can receive an even better deal: purchase 5 adult anytime passes and get each pass for only $239.
Summer at Boreal is not just for sitting around and relaxing. Their mountain operations crew is working hard to make Boreal better than the day you left it last.
They are adding 15 new fan guns to get you on the mountain and to the top earlier than ever.
Improved night lighting:
Skiers and riders will be able to hit the slopes until 9 pm.
They are also purchasing two new grooming cats, including a “winch cat” to cut the Super-pipe walls straighter than ever before.
Lake Tahoe skiers, don’t throw your skis in the closet just yet.
Go hit the slopes this July at Boreal, for some summer snow action!
