Kelly Clark is heading home to West Dover, Vermont, and this time it’s not for a halfpipe competition. She plans to raise money for an important cause.
The three-time Olympic snowboarder, gold and bronze medalist, and hero to many riders, will be hosting the inaugural Kelly Clark Foundation Golf Tournament, at the Mount Snow Golf Club, on July 12th.
The Kelly Clark Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides opportunities and resources to younger people that are looking to attend mountain schools. This goal is one that falls very close to Kelly’s heart, as she herself is an alumnus of the Mount Snow Academy.
In hosting their first annual charity golf tournament, The Kelly Clark Foundation realizes that the key to success often begins with the opportunity to follow your dreams.
Through the fundraising and private donations, the foundation hopes to aid every young person in getting that opportunity.
The format for the Inaugural Kelly Clark Foundation charity golf tournament is a four-person, best ball scramble.
The tee off will start at 11:00 a.m. It is $500 for team entry fee, which includes golf and a dinner reception/awards ceremony at TC’s Family Restaurant, owned by Kelly’s own parents, Terry and Cathy.
