As we’ve been previously harking on, there is no better place to be then at a summer ski camp if you’re serious about taking your skills to the next level. However, when choosing a camp you (and likely your parents) want to be sure to select a place that offers not only a great camp experience, but one that is going to allow you to progress in the safest way possible.
Momentum Ski Camps, a long-time veteran of the Whistler summer camp scene, has always made safety a top priority by not only enlisting some of the top builders in the world, but also by introducing the most advanced training methods to the Horstman glacier each year.
For Summer 2010, the camp has brought in long-time Whistler resident and Armada Skis rider Chris Turpin to design and build the lane for this camp season. Turpin will be working with new features such as the “airbag”, as well as some additional space compared to previous seasons. Campers will also be pleased to know that someone who rips as much as Chris Turpin will be designing the very same features he will be skiing on, ensuring only the most perfectly manicured features.
