Sorry boys – as much as you want to snowboard on some actual snow this summer, the 4th Annual Supergirl Jam Series is just for the ladies. The all-female snowboard rail jam will once again be hitting the road this summer taking its show to the iconic Venice Beach on August 22nd. The rail contest calls for 80,000 pounds of snow to be created, and will feature some of the most talented girls in the world. Looking to defend her crown will be Tahoe’s Laurie Currier, a two-time Supergirl champion.

However, these snowboarding chicas won’t be the only action sport represented in Venice, as the venue will also feature a skateboard and inline skate contest on a street-course where qualifiers will duke it out for the victory.

Perhaps best of all, the Supergirl Jam Series is televised on major networks such as CBS, Fox Sports Net (FSN) and FUEL TV, ensuring these female rippers will receive some great media exposure. For those in the nearby Venice Beach area, be sure to come on out to the boardwalk as all Supergirl events are completely free to watch.
