Hundred foot ski jump ready for Sammy Carlson Invitational

Sammy Carlson said for the “Sammy C Invitational” he wanted to build the biggest step-over jump in Mt. Hood history, and after viewing the test lap on the behemoth I think its fair to say he has delivered the goods. As we mentioned earlier this week, The Sammy C Invitational will be happening tomorrow, July 1st, at the famous Windells Camp lane on Mt. Hood. The first of its kind, this signature summer Big Air contest will invite some of the world’s best skiers to throw down in a jam-style session.

Carlson explains in the new video that the jump measures in at a whopping 110 feet, to the knuckle. Absolutely insane, this jump should make for a memorable contest and perhaps a triple cork or two?
