Olympic Gold Medal-winning  snowboarder Hannah Teter is hoping to add another piece of hardware to her trophy case, and this time its not for snowboarding.

Teter is among the list of athlete nominees for the 2010 VH1 “Do Something Awards”. The Do Something Awards are the premiere national award  show to honor social action. Nominees and winners mark the pivotal “do-ers” in their respective field, cause, or issue. Since 1996, DoSomething.org has honored the nation’s best world-changers, ages 25 and under.

Hannah has been pegged for her charity work off the slopes that has included the sale of a signature maple syrup that benefits a Kenyan village, auctions of her underwear to support Doctors Without Borders, and work with Ben & Jerry’s where a part of proceeds go to her charity.
