Las Vegas-based casino Caesars Palace and Coors Light, recently partnered to hold a summer ski and snowboard Big Air event during the 4th of July weekend as the outdoor Roman Plaza was converted into the ultimate chill zone; highlighted by a four-story ski jump featuring real snow.

A giant block of ice was brought in from California, as the crew quickly worked to transform it into rideable snow for the athletes.

The event drew in professional snowboarders and skiers alike, as they spun and flipped through the air to the cheers of the awe-struck crowd. Even though temperatures topped 100 degrees, the maintenance crew kept the jump in prime condition.

Holding it down for skiers were Boone Skis team members Matt Heffernan and Matt Cook.
