Twilight hour rodeos will be the new standard at Windells

Windells has been an innovator among ski and snowboard camps for years, and now the camp and academy have unveiled the first-ever dry slope kicker with an airbag landing.

The new dry slope setup, which is now permanently installed on the campus, will allow both Windells Academy students and campers to practice their tricks year-round. With the use of Windells facilities, skiers and snowboarders will be able to practice moves on the trampolines, the airbag, and finally take it to snow, all while never leaving Windells-operated facilities.

The newest feature to Windells has already drawn some top talent, such as the U.S. Snowboarding Halfpipe Team who was recently made their way to the camp with top pros such as Greg Bretz, Elena Hight, among others.

This latest addition to the campus marks the second airbag found at Windells facilities, with the other set up on the glacier.
