Proving once again he is a complete machine, pro skier Sammy Carlson has successfully arrived in Ogden, UT, after riding his bike from Hood River, OR. The Hood River 2 Ogden (H2O) ride was organized by Carlson and Scott Rowley to promote autism awareness and raise $25,000 for Talk About Curing Autism (TACA).
H2O cyclists trekked over 1000 miles from their Oregon hometown beginning on July 7th, and arrived to Ogden just hours ago, several days ahead of schedule.
Carlson, who appears to have shed his long locks, even took the time to sit down for an interview at the Salomon offices to discuss his ride and the rest of his summer plans.
Congratulations go out to Sammy, Scott, and all the cyclists who took part in the cause! Make sure you log onto http://www.tacah2o.com/ and donate. This latest accomplishment begs the question, “What’s the next stop for Sammy and friends, Le Tour?”
