Nature Valley is teaming up with National Parks Spokesperson Patricia Shultz, best-selling author of 1,000 Places to See Before You Die, to raise money for the National Parks Conservations Association. Nature Valley will donate up to $600,000 to assist in funding three different preservation projects, and we can help too! Until the end of August, any specially marked Nature Valley granola bar wrapper sent to the company will result in a 10-cent donation to the NCAP (up to the $600,000 limit). People can also donate to the NPCA by visiting www.preservetheparks.com.
The funds raised by Nature Valley will be donated to three different projects, all geared towards reversing environmental damage in the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, and Biscayne National Park. The NPCA hopes to reestablish crucial plant life in the Grand Canyon, rebuild coral reefs in Biscayne National Park, and create free migration routes for Pronghorns in Yellowstone.
Later in the summer, Nature Valley will also be giving away three trips to the Grand Canyon. For details on winning the trip, check www.preservetheparks.com or check Nature Valley’s Facebook page.
