Sandra Bullock has been granted a renewed temporary restraining order against a old stalker whom the actress claimed has been repeatedly trying to contact her since 2003 through e-mails and faxes.
Most recently, Thomas James Weldon, 41, allegedly drove across the country from a mental institution in Tennessee to Wyoming, where he sought medical help in an emergency room citing he was suffering from anxiety and insomnia. Weldon repeatedly said to hospital staff that he was hoping to meet Bullock at her nearby Jackson Hole home, and that he was communicating with Bullock telepathically.
Weldon previously received two different three-year restraining orders, the most recent of which lapsed in 2009. An August 6th hearing is scheduled to discuss the restraining order against Weldon. The recently obtained restraining order lists the actress, her recently adopted son, her nanny, housekeeper and assistant as those needing protection from Weldon.
