Zac Efron, star of the upcoming “Charlie St. Cloud”, revealed he wants some snowboard lessons from Olympic superstar Shaun White to boost his riding skills.
The 22-year-old teen heartthrob recently appeared on the “Tonight Show with Jay Leno” where he expressed his admiration for the Olympic gold medalist, who recently was presented an ESPY by none other than Efron himself.
Efron said of White, “He’s great. He’s someone from my generation that I really look up to. When he pulled those stunts at the Olympics, that was insane.”
Efron went on to say that he’s got Shaun’s phone number, and hopes for a lesson in the near future.
As for where the two would link up for this proposed snowboarding adventure, Efron didn’t say any specific locale, but a hint of his preference may have been dropped when he spoke of his previous bungee jumping adventures outside Whistler Blackcomb. The famous British Columbia-based resort has one of the longest snowboard seasons anywhere, so even busy guys like Efron and White could probably squeeze a few days in for riding between their hectic schedules. But who knows, maybe Efron will snowboard with Shaun at his private halfpipe?
