Venture Snowboards is teaming up with Protect Our Winters (POW) to offer a special limited edition snowboard for the 2010-11 Winter Line.

This limited edition POW graphic is now available by special order on any of Venture’s solid boards. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to POW to support their work to reverse the global warming crisis by uniting and mobilizing the winter sports community to have a direct and positive impact on climate change.
Working with POW was a natural for Venture’s owners, Klemens and Lisa Branner. Since founding the company in 1999, the husband and wife team have pursued a dual mission: to handcraft superior performance snowboards while minimizing environmental impact.
“As snowboarders and outdoors people, we feel compelled to help protect the wild places that inspire us,” says Lisa. “It’s always been a defining part of who we are and how we do business.”
“We’re really excited to be partnering with Venture and appreciate their contribution to Protect Our Winters,” says Chris Steinkamp, POW’s Executive Director. “Venture represents a new breed of snowboard manufacturers who realize that design, production and environmental sustainability can co-exist.”
The limited edition POW boards will be available for special order through August 15, 2010. For more information, visit the Venture Snowboards blog: News from 9,318′ (www.venturesnowboards.blogspot.com).
