Female ski sensation Jessica Warll stomps double flip at Whistler Blackcomb

It’s no secret skiing is progressing at a dizzying rate. Contest wise, it’s become a prerequisite to throw a double in slopestyle or pipe to have a shot at the podium. A handful of skiers have even upped the ante, learning unnatural double corks and flips. However, the boys aren’t going to be the only ones stepping their game up into the future, as the girls are also working to lead the charge.

Trailers for Grete Eliassen’s female ski movie “Say My Name” have teased us with epic riding from the ladies, including a quick snapshot at what looks like a double backflip in the backcountry. On the snowboard side of things, gold medalist Torah Bright has busted out doubles as well, but there hasn’t been a documented double flip by a female skier, until now.

During “Newschoolers” week at Whistler’s Camp of Champions, Jessica Warll etched her name in the history books by stomping a double flatspin 720. For those who don’t want to check out the whole eye candy of Camp of Champions Session D, feel free to skip to 3:38 to witness history.
