One of the fastest rising stars in the alpine ski racing world, 2010 Olympian Erik Fisher of the US Ski Team is having possibly his best year ever. The Ski Channel caught up with Erik at Mammoth Mountain, CA for a day of training and an interview..
Besides discussing his hopes and plans for the 2010 Winter Olympics, Erik also talked about growing up in Idaho and skiing at Bogus Basin, the other dangerous activities he is involved in such as dirt biking and kite surfing, and even his idea for a compromise between poles and no-poles skiers.
Erik reminisces about his early days racing and his recent record setting finish at Kitzbuhel, Austria in an in-depth interview with host Zeke Piestrup.
For a deeper insight in to the mind of Erik Fisher (or just to see footage of him shredding a kiteboard), be sure to catch his episode of “Moguls”, premiering this month on The Ski Channel.
