Greg Stump hasn’t made a ski movie in over 10 years. However, as we mentioned yesterday, the legendary ski filmmaker is currently putting the finishing touches on his eagerly awaited return to ski flicks, “Legend of Aahhh’s,” coming to movie theaters this fall.
Besides just creating the highly-acclaimed “Blizzard of Aahhh’s” that launched the careers of its ensemble cast of skiers, Stump continued making several more films throughout his career. As part of The Ski Channel’s new August programming lineup, audiences can relive one of Stump’s previous ski films as they prepare for the release of “Legend.”
Greg Stump’s “Groove Requiem In The Key Of Ski” takes the viewer back to the old days of watching ski movies. This epic adventure, shot in the winter of 1991, exhibits the pleasure of skiing during intense political times. The film explores Italy, France, Whistler, B.C., Alaska and more, providing ski fans an intense look at the World Cup Downhill team as they race down steep terrain.
‘Requiem” will definitely get audiences excited and ready for Stump’s next sure-to-be legendary ski experience.
