The Action Sports Retailer show just wrapped from San Diego, and now all the companies are slowing beginning to release info about their latest new goodies.

One of the hottest companies in the action sports world, GoPro, was on hand showing off  their latest footage captured with the wildly popular HD Hero camera, and also previewed some of their latest gadgets coming in the future.

GoPro revealed that not only are they coming out with a new 960p camera for a price that should be considered armed robbery, but also displayed their all-new 3D mount that will allow amateur videographers to try their hand at producing videos in the third dimension.

But don’t let me be the one to spoil all the surprises, check out this video of GoPro Director of Customer Satisfaction Justin Wilkenfeld explaining the latest company happenings in this video from ASR:

Still wondering how the 3D mount is going to work at producing a final product? A good glimpse of the potential 3D application of these cameras can be seen in this ski and snowboard edit created by the talented Abe Kislevitz, who created this video in his spare time this past spring. Kislevitz, a long time USC Ski Team member, recruited some friends to showcase the in-your-face action that is now possible to capture with two GoPro cameras and the 3D mount.
