Mountain High, Southern California’s closest resort will be bringing the slopes to the sweltering streets of Torrance, CA for an upcoming party at the DVS warehouse on August 28th.  Over 25 tons of snow will make the journey in order to build an urban snow ramp complete with rails and boxes.

The party will feature live bands, DJ’s, raffles, giveaways, free food from Wahoo’s Fish Taco for the first 300 guests and a chance to skate for free at Podium’s indoor skate park.  Attendees will also have the rare opportunity to meet and score autographs from Mt. High team riders MFM, Louie Vito, and Cory Cronk.

Those who purchase or pick up their season pass at the party will receive two adult, non-holiday, 8-hour lift tickets free of charge!  You will also receive a free shirt from Shred Slaughter and reserve the right to shred the urban snow ramp.  The season pass sale runs from August 27th- October 31st, and as always will cost the very affordable sum of $300.  Hurry because once the sale ends, passes go back to their full price of $599.  With additional benefits that include 10% off non-sale retail items from the pro shop, 10% off adult ski or snowboard lessons, free admission to the new North Pole Tubing Park at North Resort, and guaranteed admittance during sell out periods, there is really no reason not to pick up your season pass for Mt. High.  Passes for children aged 7-12 are only $129 with purchase of an adult pass, and passes for children 6 and under are free.

Even if you aren’t planning on picking up a season pass, the party is open to everyone, so head on down to Torrance to skate, catch some live music, and snag some free food.  See you there!

The event takes place at:
