Skihoe is an exciting, new California-based apparel company that aims to unite lifestyles both on and off the slopes through fashion.

Company founder/CEO Sinah Hoenig said:

“Basically, the company is about introducing the ultimate ski apparel brand to the market. I didn’t think there was an apparel brand out there that represents the freeskiing scene. Skihoe is inspired by its athletes. It was about time to launch something that’s hip for young skiers to wear even when their off the slopes.”

To spread the message of Skihoe, the company embarked on a 2-week tour this summer with the legendary Warped Tour, where they partnered with the band The Early Strike to sell merchandise. The Early Strike performed at 8 different tour stops throughout the U.S. and Canada, before recently wrapping with the final Warped stop in Marysville, CA. Skihoe gained lots of new fans in ski meccas such as Salt Lake City and Denver where the tour touched down. Along the way Skihoe met up with some famous Skihoe supporters including 2010 Winter Olympic Freestyle Moguls Bronze Medalist Shannon Bahrke.

Even though the tour may have since finished, Skihoe isn’t slowing down. The ski streetwear brand is set to launch an all new 2010-11 clothing line, and recently held a photo shoot to promote the collection.

Among the distinguishing features of the upcoming collection are the materials used in the manufacturing of some of the items. In particular, the Classic Mute tops for both the men’s and women’s collection feature high-performance fabrics that function as the perfect base layer for on the slopes. Best of all – it’s made from 100% recyclable materials!
