As snow sport fans nationwide grow with anticipation for winter on the advent of their local Labor Day ski and snowboard sales, at least one mountain resort wants to hook their guests up with the best deals both on and off the slopes.
Lake Tahoe’s Heavenly Mountain Resort, which will host their 24th Annual Heavenly Sports Tent Sale this Labor Day weekend, will be providing an extra bonus for those stragglers who haven’t yet bought their 2010-11 Heavenly Pass.
The tent sale, which offers hard and soft goods for as much as 70 percent off, will feature a special voucher to those shoppers purchasing their Heavenly pass at the event. The voucher allows the new pass-holder to receive $25 off any purchase of $250 or more, but is only valid the day the pass is purchased and may not be combined with any other offer. The hours for the tent sale are Saturday, September 4, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Sunday, September 5, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Monday, September 6, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
“With only 80 days remaining until we open, Labor Day is the perfect time to get everything you need for the upcoming ski and snowboard season. At $359, the Heavenly Pass is a virtual steal for Lake Tahoe’s premier destination resort,” said John Wagnon, Heavenly vice president of Marketing and Sales. “And the added functionality of EpicMix combines the magic of skiing and riding with the latest social media technology to provide an experience you won’t get from any other season pass.”
Labor Day, September 6, 2010, will be the last day to purchase or renew the 2010-11 Heavenly Pass at the summer rate of just $359, a $140 savings off the $499 retail price. Teen, child and senior pass pricing is also available.
New passes can also be purchased or renewed online at www.skiheavenly.com or in-person seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Heavenly season pass office located at the Gondola. Those purchasing a Heavenly pass also receive unlimited half-price tickets at any other Vail Resorts ski properties including Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge and Keystone.
