Since the release of Matchstick Productions’ trailer for “The Way I See It,” skiers have been clamoring for more details about the eye-popping light show terrain park that was briefly displayed in the movie’s teaser. It was fairly obvious given the placement of the logos that the kicker involved some sort of Red Bull and Mammoth Mountain collaboration, but details remained tight-lipped.

Now that Matchstick has finally premiered their new ski movie, Red Bull has gone ahead and posted the full video of the shoot that combined interactive art with an epic terrain park session.

The set all came together as Melbourne-based installation artists, ENESS, projected 3D graphics onto a 21-foot inflatable sphere using their proprietary software. The skiers and snowboarders hitting the unique ‘art piece’ were tracked via an infrared camera as they put down their tricks.

Check out the video, and be sure to check out “The Way I See It” for the full segment.
