Bargain hunters rejoice: Armada Skis offers ‘garage sale’ this weekend at SoCal HQ

Today marks the start of a joyous weekend that Southern California’s select few skiers are beginning to anticipate with growing lust for each year; SoCal’s most well-known ski company, Armada Skis, will host their annual ‘garage’ sale this weekend starting today through Sunday.

However this isn’t an ordinary garage sale – there won’t be knick-knack, decrepit junk like grandma would sell. Armada’s garage sale promises brand new products at steep discounts. Everything ranging from outerwear to backpacks to skis will be on sale.

Important: Those hoping to snag 2010-11 Armada products at the sale should note that there will NOT be anything for sale from this year.

So I know the first question you are probably wondering – can you buy online if you’re not able to make it in person? In a word: no.

Sorry Charlie – but anyone who knows a thing about shipping skis, packaging costs, etc., understands that this would be a logistical nightmare. Besides, SoCal skiers don’t exactly have that many events they can call distinctly their own. Sure the beautiful weather, women, and recreational opportunities go a long way towards making up for this, but there’s something to be said for having your cake and eating it too.

While it’s always a toss up of what inventory will be available, the event is sure to have something for everyone and budgets of all sizes. Whether it’s a poster or a nearly complete head-to-toe setup that you are looking for, it’s worth a trip down to the Costa Mesa, CA offices.

Who knows? Maybe you’ll get lucky and grab your dream ski of choice like I did last year with the Pipe Cleaners. Or maybe it’s the JJ’s that got you looking to reduce the size of your ski quiver? Either way, you won’t know unless you come on out!
