Ski and snowboard movie VOD website launched

Opper Sports Productions has announced the launch of theSNOWnetwork.com. This new video on demand (VOD) service offers users the simplest way to watch skiing and snowboarding movies on their computer, HDTV, and a variety of portable devices.

Customers of theSNOWnetwork.com can choose from the largest online selection of premium skiing and snowboarding films from the industry’s award-winning producers, directors, and cinematographers, such as Teton Gravity Research, Warren Miller Entertainment, X-treme Video, Standard Films, and FUEL TV.

TheSNOWnetwork’s cloud-based VOD service allows users to purchase videos that can be downloaded directly to their iTunes library. Once purchased the customer has access to the videos in “My Video Library” where their viewing rights never expire. Users may also choose the “Watch Now” feature which instantly streams video directly to any computer or compatible internet-connected device such as an iPad, iPod, iPhone, Android phone, or the Boxee Box to name a few. Pricing starts for as little as $2.49 for television shows, $9.99 for library titles and up to $14.99 for new releases.
