Eric Pollard joins Causwell Outerwear

Eric Pollard has been about the closest anyone has come towards being considered a modern day renaissance man among the ski world. Besides having an obvious talent for tackling nearly every aspect of skiing (and even snowboarding at times) during his illustrious career, Pollard’s talent isn’t contained to just the ski slopes.

With Nimbus Independent, Pollard has created an independent production company that allows him to completely control his product from the initial filming to the final distribution of his work. Forgoing the traditional method of charging for these film projects, Pollard has recently made them open for all to enjoy free of charge everywhere from Nimbus’ Vimeo account to The Ski Channel’s VOD television network.

Check out the most recent Nimbus project, “En Route: Nomads.”

At Line Skis, he has been able to lay his artistic talents on a plethora of different top-sheets over the years on signature models such as the Sir Francis Bacon, EP Pros, and more.

But now Pollard has set his sights on conquering another new challenge: designing outerwear. Causwell Outerwear, a member of the growing Surface Skis family, has recruited the legendary skier to spearhead the design and development of his own signature Causwell collection. Pollard will chose every detail, pick every piece of material, and call upon his years of design experience to produce the world’s finest outerwear.

We congratulate Eric on his new endeavor and look forward to seeing the first designs at the SIA Snow Show in January.

To see more of Eric alongside his wife, Erin, be sure to catch a screening of Ski Channel’s original film, “The Story,” premiering at a tour stop near you this fall. For a complete tour schedule and to watch the trailer, head over to the Film Tour page.
