In association with TELUS, Mont Tremblant Ski Resort is launching a new mobile application developed by Nurun and free for users of iPhones and the Android range of smartphones. This tool will allow users to quickly locate any information on the Resort they need, including promotional offers, programming, ski conditions, dining, lodging and more. The application features an augmented reality system enabling users to live the full Tremblant Resort experience.

“At Tremblant, our number one priority is ensuring that our guests enjoy an unforgettable experience,” noted Patrice Malo, President and COO of Mont Tremblant Ski Resort. “In fact, the launch of the Tremblant application, possible thanks to the support of TELUS, is another step in our mission to better serve visitors and ski enthusiasts by providing even more information and fun. With a single click, users will be able to access all of the Resort’s tourist information in order to plan their ideal vacation equipped with the most up-to-date news and promotional offers.”

Targeting guests and visitors to the resort, the Tremblant application is the first of its kind in Quebec for a ski resort. The application uses location based services for intelligent devices to provide information such as weather conditions and the resort’s top promotional offers to ensure a successful visit. Users will then know the location of the nearest desired service, regardless of their location.

“At TELUS, our goal is to provide the best communication experience to our consumers,” said Patrick Corneau, Vice-President, Marketing Communications for TELUS. “Linking this goal with our desire for innovation allows us to leverage state-of-the-art technologies to offer seasoned travelers the full Tremblant experience right at their fingertips. TELUS considered it important not only to support Tremblant in the development project of a new application for visitors, but also to contribute to the development of advanced information tools, for the benefit of all Quebecers.”

“From the outset, our objective was the creation of a mobile application which would be invaluable for Tremblant visitors,” said Christian Quenneville, Vice-President and General Manager of Nurun Montreal. “This is what we consider numeric utility. Location based and augmented reality technologies allow us to provide visitors with essential information at the exact moment they need it most.”

The Tremblant application offers the following functionalities:

· Navigating through the Resort via a system of precise mapping and the augmented reality functionality to find the best place to dine, enjoy après-ski relaxation, shop or schedule a spa treatment.

· Access to a comprehensive directory of services and activities at the Resort.

· Access to Tremblant’s line-up of special events and programs.

· Access to the latest ski conditions and weather forecasts for the Resort.

· Up-to-date notifications on promotional offers from participating restaurants and shops.
