About Mann’s Chinese Theatre

Mann’s Chinese Theatre, built in 1926, was declared a historic and cultural landmark in 1968, and has hosted The Academy Awards on three different occasions. Today, it still serves as not only a fixture of Hollywood Blvd., but is also one of the premier venues for Hollywood movie premieres. Boasting credentials like these, The Ski Channel thought it was only fitting for the site to jump-start our own film run, as The Ski Channel Film Tour travels across the country, spreading the message of mountain sport infatuation through ski cinema.
