3-time World Cup ski champion Lindsey Vonn to speak at Colorado elementary school

Skiing superstar Lindsey Vonn will visit Devinny Elementary School, located in Lakewood, Colorado on Thursday, Oct. 28, 2010 where she will speak to students about her ski career including her unprecedented success in the 2010 Olympic Games and her three consecutive World Cup Titles.

Devinny students earned the special appearance after they won a contest through Vail Resorts and its School of Shred Program, which provides four free days of skiing or riding at Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone and Arapahoe Basin for all Colorado fifth and sixth grade students as well as one complimentary beginner ski lesson, including rental equipment. Devinny had the most students sign up for the School of Shred and won the visit from the decorated ski racer.

1:30-2:00pm- 3rd and 4th grade show
2:15-2:45pm- Show for 5th and 6th graders
2:50-3:30pm- Meet and greet and autograph signing for 5th graders
3:30-4:00pm- Meet and greet with school faculty & select parents
4:00pm Brief Q&A with Lindsey Vonn and media members
