Golfer John Daly’s fashion sense hits the ski slopes

If you’ve seen golfer John Daly on television recently, he likely caught your eye to say the least. His pants from Loudmouth Golf are loud indeed. The company is taking the style from golf to skiing with the introduction of pants for skiing and snowboarding.

“It was a natural step, since our golf pants were centered originally around guys getting together and having a good time, creating a social and athletic atmosphere simultaneously,” said Scott “Woody” Woodworth, LoudMouth’s founder and chief designer. “Ski trips have the same ‘let-the-good-times-roll’ feeling as a golf outing, and deserve high-fashion because people are watching you do it. It’s all about, ‘Hey, look at me!’ for better or worse.”

Along with their bold look, the pants are technical with a 10,000 mm waterproof rating and seam-sealed construction. The $295 pants come in two designs: Shagadelic Black (see photo at right) and Oakmont Houndstooth.

The ski and snowboarding pants are available for pre-order on the Loudmouth website. Shipments will begin the first week of December.
