U.S. Ski Team to debut new Spyder outerwear at Vail announcement

The 2011 U.S. Alpine Ski Team will be debut in Vail on Saturday, Nov. 6, and so will their new outerwear, thanks to long-time Team partner Spyder. The event kicks off at 4:30 p.m. MT in Vail Square in Lionshead and will be streamed live on www.UniversalSports.com.

For over twenty years, Spyder has outfitted the U.S. Alpine Ski Team in performance race suits and training outerwear that promote the skills and individualism of each of its athletes. This year will be no exception as the iconic brand continues their longstanding relationship with the U.S. Ski Team to provide innovative apparel for the nations top athletes.

During Saturday’s celebration in Vail athletes including Olympic medalists Lindsey Vonn (Vail, CO), Bode Miller (Franconia, NH), Andrew Weibrecht (Lake Placid, NY) and Ted Ligety (Park City, UT) will be rocking Spyder’s new line of innovative gear. Men will be donning the shiny, lime green Die Hard Down Jacket while the women will be looking stylish in the purple plaid Arc Soft Shell Jacket.

Fans can kick off the epic day on Golden Peak from 7:00-10:30 a.m. by checking out a training block from the Golden Peak base area at Vail with the free public celebration set to begin at 4:30 p.m. MT. The entire team will be conducting a short kids press conference followed by an autograph session for avid supporters. Music, videos, food and giveaways will be provided throughout the event.
