Smugglers’ Notch Resort combines expanded winter vacation packages with special deals

Smugglers’ Notch Resort in northern Vermont has expanded its winter vacation package options so that families have more flexibility to match packages to their winter vacation interests and budgetary requirements. Additional specials increase the savings throughout the season.

Each of Smugglers’ three winter vacation packages feature the following popular inclusions: mountainside condominium lodging; daily lift tickets; snow tubing; ice skating; use of the indoor pool and hot tub, Nordic and snowshoe terrain, indoor FunZone with climbing inflatables, and teen centers; and family and adult entertainment.

For guests seeking a ski-and-stay package, Smugglers’ offers the Base Package starting at $79 per youth and $109 per adult per night and featuring the above inclusions.

The Classic Packages features the above inclusions plus the resort’s renowned onslope instructional programs for children, with all day ski or snowboard camp for ages 3-5 and group lessons for ages 6-17 as part of the package. The Classic package starts at $99 per youth and $109 per adult per night.

The Summit Package features the above inclusions plus Snow Sport University instructional programs for the entire family – all-day ski or snowboard camp for ages 3-5 and 1.5-hour group lessons for ages 6 – adult. This package starts at $99 per youth and $129 per adult per night.

The Classic and Summit packages also offer discounts on all-day instruction programs for ages 6-15 and rental equipment for ages 3-15, plus a discount on Smugglers’ 2.5-hour instruction lesson format with a maximum of five students.

Package specials
Child care discount: During December 10-24, 2010 and January 3-30, 2011, guests on the Club Smugglers’ Classic Package will receive 50 percent off childcare at Smugglers’ slopeside children’s center, Treasures. Guests on the Summit package will receive the discount all season. (Regular rate $85 per day per child.)

Learn-to-Ski Week: A Learn-to-Ski Week with free rental equipment returns this Winter for guests staying three nights or longer on the Club Smugglers’ Base Package. Entry and beginner level skiers or riders are invited to learn to ski or ride for $109 per night for adults and $79 per night for children 3-17 years old. The package includes condominium lodging, daily lift tickets, group lessons and free rental equipment, après ski activities, and use of the pool and hot tubs from January 7-13, 2011.

Stay six nights and get the seventh night free: This special is available New Year’s Week, December 26 – January 2, 2011 and Presidents’ Week, February 18 – 24, 2011. These holiday weeks also feature a torchlight parade, bonfire and fireworks.
