Aspen unkind for Lindsey Vonn once again.  The three-time overall World Cup champion was slapped with a DNF (did not finish) for a second year in a row in the giant slalom World Cup at Aspen.

Julia Mancuso, her media manufactured rival, had a blazing run and sits just 0.03 seconds back of Germany’s Viktoria Rebensburg.  Maria Riesch, Vonn’s main rival for the overall title is in 10th.

Sarah Schleper was the only other U.S. Ski Team racer to earn a second run.  Schleper is 21st after the first run, 1.61 seconds back.
