Peter Greene, a 77 year old Aspen legend, has passed away  from a broken neck.  He was on the Ajax Express lift when he had a bad fall and could not respond to patrollers efforts to save him.  He was not breathing when patrol arrived and they were able to revive him but they found fractures in his neck and then airlifted him to Denver where he passed away today.

Greene had interest in Bonnie’s restaurant, Golden Horn downtown, Cork and Cleaver and Pedro Verde’s restaurants, respectively.  He will be missed by many and is considered a fixture in the Aspen community.
