3 lost snowboarders at Mt. Hood found

Three snowboarders, who found themselves disoriented and lost after reportedly snowboarding outside of boundaries at Mount Hood’s Ski Bowl, were found in good condition by Clackamas County Search and Rescue personnel Wednesday evening.

Rescuers homed in on the cellphone’s GPS coordinates and found them on the south side in three feet of snow. They’d been on the mountain three hours before calling for help at 2 p.m.

The snowboarders were identified as 24-year-old Trevor Rome of Sherwood, Ore., 25-year-old Brandon Miller of Vancouver, Wash., and 26-year-old Jesse Moline of Vancouver, Wash.
