The Eastern Championship Series, the “A” level, qualifies skiers for national level events including Juniors Olympics, Junior Worlds, US Freestyle Championships, and the US Selection Events. Eastern Freestyle has produced many US Freestyle Ski Team, US Open and X-Game podium winners and Olympic athletes.

Burcin hopes to land in the top three at Junior Olympics and top 10 at Nationals to become a member of the US Development Team. Wadhams is looking to place in the finals at Nationals and make the NorAm Tour.

“Course conditions were great, despite the weather leading up to the event, and athletes had the choice of four lines with well maintained jumps and landings,” said KMS Freestyle Coach Sam Tarrant. “The course was great for working on new skills that the athletes will continue to work on during the season.”
