Mt. Bachelor will offer the best possible 2-day lift ticket rate for the 2010/11 winter season during a 96 hour online sales event beginning Monday, January 10 at 5 pm PST and running through 5 pm PST on Friday, January 14. Guests will be able to purchase 2-consecutive-day adult lift tickets for $96, or just $48 per day, during this one-time sales opportunity.

For less than the cost of a single-day lift ticket to some well-known mega-resorts, guests will experience 2-full days of incredible conditions in the unspoiled wilderness of Mt. Bachelor, where seasonal snowfall and base depths are at their highest levels in over a decade. With over 270” of snowfall so far this season and a snow base depth of 88” at the bottom of the mountain (and over 8 feet on the ground at mid-mountain!), the 96 hour sale is the perfect opportunity to lock-in 2 days of guaranteed snow-fun at the largest resort in the Cascades with the best quick-get-away lift ticket rate of the year.

“We’re in the midst of an epic La Niña snow cycle, the best we’ve seen since 1998/99. Current conditions are fantastic with more snow in the forecast,” said Dave Rathbun, President and General Manager of Mt. Bachelor. The National Weather Service predicts a consistent storm track for the foreseeable future with more of the deep, cold, dry snow Mt. Bachelor is famous for here on the eastern slope of the Cascade Range.

The $96, 2-consecutive-day adult lift ticket must be purchased online at www.mtbachelor.com during the 96 hour sale period and is not available by phone, in-person, or through lodging partners. After purchasing online, guests will be able to pick up their tickets at Mt. Bachelor’s guest services desk at the West Village base area on their first day of use, valid between Saturday, January 15, 2011 and Thursday, March 17, 2011, excluding President’s weekend February 19-20, 2011. Additional multiday lift ticket and lodging packages are also available online at www.mtbachelor.com.
