Sean Petit, an 18 year old Canadian, took home the coveted Red Bull Linecatcher titile on Monday in Vars, France.  He led the field in scoring all three runs.

“I feel tired and really excited at the very same time,” Pettit said, waiting for results after his third run. “I just tried to subside all the pressure and have a good time, and that’s exactly what I did.”

From most accounts, the snow was unpredictable, punchy and rotten.  It truly is amazing what these skiers can accomplish in variable conditions.  Petit threw a cork photo: espn/olyvia dwyer

720 and a 3 in one run and third place finisher Tim Durtschi threw a switch 540 and stuck it.

Markus Eder delivered a clean second run, landing a flat 720 at the top, a cork 360 in the middle, and straying to skier’s right of the venue for a drop with a switch landing.
