La nina delivers huge: Jackson passes 300 inch mark

Today, January 19th marks 300 inches of snowfall for Jackson Hole Mountain Resort (JHMR). The season has been incredible; ‘Snow’vember, ‘Deep’cember, and now ‘Storm’uary, have skiers and riders reveling in the bottomless snow. With over 5½ feet of snow since the New Year la Niña is bringing plentiful snow to Jackson Hole.

 On November 27th JHMR opened to the public with a record 130” of snow and a never-seen-before ‘Top to Bottom, Wall to Wall’ opening of all major lifts and runs. As the snow continued to pile up, the historical opening was followed by the strongest December visitation in JHMR history.
