While many skiers and riders relish in the abundance of natural snowfall New England has experienced this month, there are still those out there who would rather fast forward to the warmer, longer days of March and April. To that end, Bolton Valley, Vermont’s most convenient ski resort just 30 minutes from Burlington, has created a remedy for prolonging winter fun while curing the mid-winter Cabin Fever itch.

The Cabin Fever Elixir Package is Bolton Valley’s best ski-and-stay value this season, offering one third off the retail price. For $149 per person, guests will receive two days of skiing or riding and one night of ski-in/ski-out lodging at the Inn at Bolton Valley, right at the base of the mountain. The package also includes dinner in the James Moore Tavern overlooking the slopes, a continental breakfast, and use of the Sports Center including the indoor pool.

“We know this time of year can feel a bit dreary for people, especially those who live in the cities’ suburbs so we’re hoping this package will provide some inspiration to come out and enjoy all the natural snowfall we’ve had this year as well as some of the extras that make a ski getaway a fun winter experience,” said Josh Arneson, director of marketing at Bolton Valley.

Guests at the Inn at Bolton Valley enjoy true ski-to-your-door-lodging that is centrally located to both the lifts and 100km of Nordic and backcountry skiing. In the walkable base village guests will find amenities such as child care, three restaurants and ski and snowboard school for both adults and kids. Bolton Valley offers Vermont’s most extensive night skiing and riding so when the sun goes down families can keep on skiing and riding under the lights. On Saturday nights, lift tickets are just $19 and $2 pizza slices, sodas and beer can be found at Fireside Flatbread, located in the main base lodge.

The Cabin Fever Elixir Package rate is per person double occupancy and does not include tax or service charges. There is limited availability and the package is not valid for arrivals from 2/18-2/26/11 and does not apply to existing reservations nor can it be combined with other offers or promotions. The two-day lift ticket is valid for two consecutive days beginning on the day of arrival. Dinner includes a house salad, entrée, dessert, and non-alcoholic beverage. To make reservations, book online at www.boltonvalley.com or call 877-9BOLTON.

Bolton Valley Resort is Vermont’s most convenient big mountain for skiing and riding packed with value. Less than 10 minutes from I-89 and less than 30 minutes from Burlington, the family-friendly mountain offers skiers and riders of all abilities three mountain peaks with 71 trails and 6 lifts, plus 3 terrain parks including the Burton Progression Park.
