Bob and Mike Bryan, the Bryan Brothers have won their 5th Austrailian Open Title over the Indian Express – Leander Paes and Mahesh Bhupathi.  This makes 10 Grand Slam Titles for the Camarillo killers who used bomb serves to frustrate the great team of India who were going for the career Grand Slam had they won the Title.

Commented Bhupati, “There is a reason why Bob and Mike are the top team in the world. If someone is getting 83 percent of their first serves in, there is little you could do. But it is a good sign that it took the best team on the planet to beat us.”

The tennis world is very happy that Paes and Bhupathi are back together after a long break from being doubles partners.  Professional doubles has suffered from excessive partner swapping that makes marketing a challenge.  Both Bhupathi and Paes have indicated that they will continue to play more events together.

“They are two of the legends of the game.  We had to play our best match tonight. That was literally the best match we’ve played for a long time,” said Bob Bryan.

The Bryan Brothers are in position to set virtually every record left in the sport that they haven’t already won!  Taking #10 by the scores of 6-3, 6-4 puts them in a better than 2000 point lead in the ATP doubles points race.

Best of all, the Bryan Brothers have both vowed to become skiers as soon as professional tennis is over.
