Stoch takes ski jump World Cup event in Germany

KLINGENTHAL, Germany – Kamil Stoch was victorious in a large hill event Wednesday for his second career ski jump World Cup win.

Stoch, 23, scored 264.6 points for jumps of 132.0 and 136.5 meters, besting overall leader Thomas Morgenstern in second, 0.6 points behind with two jumps of 134 meters.

Two-time Olympic champion Simon Ammann of Switzerland was third with jumps of 130.5 and 135.8 meters for 263.3 points.
