Lindsey Vonn is unsure as to whether she will defend her super-G title when the World Championships open in Garmisch- Partenkirchen on Tuesday.
Her indecision may be driven by more than just the lingering after-effects of the concussion she suffered in training last week. (click here to watch)
Today was the first opportunity skiers had to inspect the course and the free ski left Lindsey a bit perturbed about the conditions.
“I was shocked and disappointed at the condition of the hill,” Vonn posted on her Facebook page. “The hill is extremely bumpy pond ice from top to bottom. It has clearly been injected or hosed down with a ton of water. I have never seen a course prepared like this in my entire career, nothing even close.”
