Checking in with powderchasers.com.  To read the full report please visit their website.  Go skiing!!!

The Epic Flag should have been flying high on Saturday and Sunday where Vail has received over 30 inches in just 48 hours and still lightly snowing at press time.  Northwest winds kept orographic snowfall intensities very high and caught me off guard where I jumped out of bed at AM Saturday morning after checking the radar and snowtel sites and started driving early Saturday from Park City to Vail, thanks to my trustworthy spotters (Steve the bartender-Ebay Powder bum) and the folks at the Sebastian Hotel who allowed me to arrive at 11:30AM and get on the hill within 10 minutes.  The storm skiing was epic and another 10 inches Saturday night made Sunday nearly 3 feet deep in spots!  Similar reports are being noted at Steamboat however lesser amounts around 2 feet.

Tuesday- Steamboat (11-16),  Vail (5-10), Beaver Creek (7-14), Snowmass (6-12)
