Norwegian superstar and Head athlete Aksel Lund Svindal repeats as World Championship super combined gold medal winner.  He lead wire to wire with solid skiing in the downhill and was the fastest down the Gudiberg slalom course as well.

“I was a little bit nervous, of course,” said the Norwegian.

“But seeing how both the course and the snow was, I knew I just had to keep my head and not put myself under too much pressure.”

Christof Innerhofer continued his amazing week with a silver after super G gold and downhill bronze finishes.

Bode Miller was 2.52 seconds off the pace after the downhill and crashed out after the second gate on the slalom.  Ted Ligety did not finish the slalom as well.
