Come out and join Skiing Legends along with 2010 Olympic bronze medalist Andrew Weibrecht at  Windham Mountain Resort Saturday, Mar. 5.  Located in the Catskills, the resort is set to host the on and off the slope Windham Mountain U.S. Ski Team Day fundraiser gathering for the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Team Foundation.  A great event with superstars of the sport  and an opportunity to donate and help this program strive toward continued success.

Skiing’s finest athletes will be in New York for some fun and sun . U.S. Ski Team supporters and fans will get the chance to not only shred with skiing icons but also go head-to-head in Nature Valley NASTAR races. A star studded cast including Tommy Moe, Donna Weinbrecht and Trace Worthington will lead the charge on the slopes.

Not only will this be an extremely fun gathering but it also will help support the future of competitive skiing and snowboarding with sights set on 2014. All proceeds will go directly to the athletes of the U.S. Ski Team and U.S. Snowboarding.

But what does every awesome ski day need? A fabulous après ski bash, of course.  Following the east coast ski adventure is the ugly sweater themed Windham Mountain U.S. Ski Team Day’s VIP Après Ski Party. It is highly encouraged to pull out your prettiest or ugliest ski sweater and come join the fun.

For more information about the fundraising event, visit the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Foundation Team’s website or contact Jessica Miller jmiller@ussa.org or 435.647.2095.

Show your patriotism and support the Team!
