Mammoth Mountain passes 400 inch mark for season, Woolly Carnival begins

The good times keep rolling along at Mammoth Mountain.  Locals taking podiums at big events, record snowfall and to make things even better, they received 10-16 inches of snow last night taking their season snowfall total to over 400 inches.  What a year indeed.  Today starts an amazing weekend of fun and free skiing for kids at  Woolly’s Winter Carnival.  A great event filled with entertainment, activities and of course, birthday cake.

If you live in the Los Angeles area, forget the Oscars, get in the car and snowboard or ski some fresh powder, bask in the sunshine (weather permitting, it may just snow more!) and enjoy the clean fresh air and fresh snow at Mammoth.  If you live elsewhere, check out the smoking hot deals that let you fly right into town.  While you plan your trip, check out the sweet video Mammoth put together from last weekend riding around  even more fresh powder on Presidents’ weekend.
